Candace Brown

Candace Brown is a well-respected dancer, teacher, and choreographer originally from California and now based in NYC. With over 15 years of teaching experience, Candace has been faculty at renowned institutions such as Millennium Dance Complex, Debbie Reynolds, EDGE PAC, Movement Lifestyle, Broadway Dance Center, Peridance, and EXPG New York. She has also taught extensively across the US and around the world, in places like Japan, Spain, Australia, South Africa, France, Italy, Amsterdam, Brazil and more.
Her industry credits include working with Beyoncé, Janet Jackson, Janelle Monáe, Jennifer Hudson, Nicole Scherzinger, Gwen Stefani, and choreographing for shows like X-Factor, Dancing With The Stars, You Can Dance Poland, and events such as the VMAs and Billboard Music Awards. She has also contributed to Kidz Bop, Pace University, Barnard University, Manhattanville College, and the Brooklynnettes.
Currently, Candace is assistant choreographer on The Wiz on Broadway, and directs her professional commercial dance company, Soul Project. Through this company, she hopes to inspire audiences worldwide with her experience and passion for choreography and live performance.
