Christopher Scott is a three-time Emmy-nominated choreographer, who received his third nomination for Outstanding Choreography in his hip-hop duet and group routines on “So You Think You Can Dance.” Chris is known for his most recent project choreographing for the Wicked movie starring Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande. His iconic choreography for “What Is This Feeling?” went viral and gained global recognition across platforms.
He has also choreographed for Showtime’s dance drama film, “All Styles,” Gwen Stefani’s “Just a Girl” Las Vegas show, “Step Up 4: Revolution,” “Step Up 5: All In,” “Dancing with the Stars,” “America’s Best Dance Crew,” Microsoft’s “Surface/Surface Pro” commercials, Disney’s “Teen Beach Movie” series and “Austin & Ally,” and the viral hit “Safety Video” for Virgin America! In 2015, Chris choreographed a cast of 1,500 dancers for the closing ceremony of the inaugural European Games.
Not only does Chris have a passion for choreography, he is also the associate producer and director of the first online dance adventure, “The LXD: The Legion of Extraordinary Dancers,” which has been featured on “Dancing With The Stars,” the GLEE Tour, the Oscars, TED Talk, and The Conan O’Brian Show.
